“Our team at KEE has been involved with the TVBA since we started in 2005. I immediately served on the board and went on to be President during the 2008 recession. I learned a lot during those years. I learned that relationships are very important and that you can compete with other builders and still be friends and help each other.  I also learned that not only do you have the membership of the TVBA, but you also have the backing of the State and National Organizations. This is very powerful as it relates to legislation that can help or cripple our industry. Someone is always working for you, even when you’re sleeping. This is primarily the reason I have never let my membership lapse, no matter how involved I may be locally from one year to the next.  If you’re in the building industry, I feel it’s your responsibility to be a member. In terms of networking and forming new friendships and partnerships; You directly get out what you put in!”
